our mala box is not only convenient to discover new fragrances, but it also provides significant savings and a hassle-free way to fragrance your home with a personally curated scent from our team each month. 

each box includes a candle (8 oz), a box of matches ($3.00 value), a discovery kit ($14.99 value) and a surprise gift from us or a favourite small business of ours. plus, shipping is included! 

our curated scent menu for the year can be found below. You have up until midnight on the day you purchase to let us know via email if you want to swap out any scents!

august: new fall scent - 8 oz / wood wick
september: new fall scent - 8 oz / wood wick
october: pumpkin latte - 8 oz / wood wick

your first candle will ship 3-5 days after your payment date, and subsequent boxes will ship on the same day of following months. if you order on the 31st of a month, this will adjust to the 30th of future months. the day you purchase your box will be considered the "first" day of your subscription. 

your box will ship standard within a week after your billing date and shipment time will vary depending on your location! orders within BC will arrive within a few days, anywhere else can take up to 7-14 days.

unfortunately not. once you have placed a pre-paid monthly order (3, 6 or 12 months) this will NOT be able to be refunded.

our portal currently shows subscriptions as "inactive" and "expired" as this is the systems way of indicating that it will not AUTO recharge after another 3,6 or 12 months have passed. however, if you click, "upcoming orders" you will see your upcoming monthly deliveries. if you click under "purchase history" you will see your current month that is about to ship/has shipped. 

please update it in your portal as well as emailing us at hello@malathebrand.com to verify the change.

you can! any other items purchased with the monthly subscription box will ship for free, together with your first monthly box.

monthly subscription box contents cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded. however, we will replace or refund products damaged during shipment if photographic proof of damage is submitted to hello@malathebrand.com within 48 hours of arrival. 

mala box is currently only available for shipment within Canada and the U.S. sign up to the mala email newsletter to stay tuned for international expansion in the future. :) 

due to international shipping restrictions, we are unfortunately unable to ship match boxes to the USA and beyond, as we are based in Canada. to replace the value of the match box, we will instead be sending extra tealights with your order if you are not based in Canada!
