PRODUCTION/FULFILLMENT ASSIST (P/T OF F/T)


As the Fulfillment Assist, you play a vital part in ensuring order fulfillment runs smoothly, efficiently, and that important deadlines are being met. You are responsible and accountable for tasks relating to quality control over proper labelling and boxing of all orders and timely fulfillment of these orders from our major retailers. The assist will work closely with the Operations Manager, Production Lead, and Founder to ensure that orders are being fulfilled efficiently with the highest standard of accuracy. This position is extremely fast-paced, very detail and action oriented and super hands on! 

Responsibilities:
~ Labelling and boxing: Labelling of all candles, boxing them, and ticketing the boxes for shipment
~ Quality control: Ensuring that every candle that goes out the door is up to our standards!
~ Material preparation: Folding boxes, wicking jars, cleaning and organizing the warehouse
~ Wholesale order fulfillment: pick, pack and ship orders for all retailers while ensuring smooth and safe delivery
~ Organize and maintain order and cleanliness of your fulfillment workstation

Requirements:
~ Great attention to detail, effective problem-solving skills, deadline-orientated, and ability to multitask is absolutely critical and necessary in this role.
~ Previous experience in a warehouse/ e-commerce business setting is an asset
~ Highly dependable and honest
~ Hardworking and consistent, seeks solutions to improve overall workflow
~ Collaborator who thrives on teamwork and maintains the “make it happen” spirit
~ Ability to jump from one subject/project to the next quickly
~ Capable of lifting 50 lb +
~ Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods of time.
~ Valid drivers license with vehicle is necessary (our warehouse is not located close to public transit) free parking is available
~ You will be working in a fully functioning and very fragrant candle studio. Please be advised that this job is not ideal for those with fragrance sensitivities.

Details:
Starting: Immediately
Location: In-person at our warehouse in Richmond, BC.
Hours: Part time. Approx 24 hours a week, split up in shifts over the week. Or F/T! 
Compensation: $16-18/hour depending on experience
