All shipping fees are automatically calculated at checkout and international packages may be subject to customs fees, which are not included in our shipping rate and are the customer's responsibility to cover. If you are wanting express shipping, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll do our best. All orders are processed and shipped from our Vancouver studio within 2-4 business days. You will receive a shipping notification once your order leaves our studio.
Due to COVID-19, our mailing partners are experiencing severe shipping and processing delays as they prioritize the safety of their staff and customers. As more consumers opt to shop online during the pandemic, they are experiencing some of their highest non-holiday numbers, particularly in their larger processing facilities.
All Canadian, USA, and INTL shipments will see processing (slow tracking updates) and delivery delays that can vary from 4 days to 4 weeks. Unless your tracking says "it's been delivered" and you haven't received the package or a notice slip, your package is still being transferred and is in waiting until it's safe to do so. It doesn't mean that your package is lost! We appreciate your patience and understanding so much and thank you again for your ongoing support even during this time! For Immediate pick up, we are still offering curbside pick up to locals in Van with code LOCALPICKUP at checkout.
Returns and Refunds
Due to the nature of our products, used candles cannot be returned or refunded. However, we will replace or refund products damaged during shipment if photographic proof of damage is submitted to hello@malathebrand within 4 days of arrival. You may exchange your product for another candle of the same size and price within 14 days of purchase if you end up not loving the scent, or if the product is somehow damaged during shipping. The buyer is responsible for the shipping cost on all returned items. The exchange/return process must be started within 30 days of the original date of delivery and requires proof of purchase.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 2 business days.
Sale and Limited Edition Items
We cannot accept exchanges or returns on sale items, gift cards, or limited edition products.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.
To return your product, you should mail your product to our home studio. Please contact email@example.com for return details.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
