Not my favourite..

This one unfortunately isn’t a success. I love every Mala candle I buy, but the honey scent on this one is very strong and hard to get passed it :( the others in the cereal collection are great!

not much throw

The candle burns evenly as all my mala candles, but for some reason, I am not getting much throw on this one. I have to put my nose close to the candle to smell anything. out of the cereal collection, this might be my least favourite. :(

sophisticated, not juvenile

For a candle inspired by cereal, I would have expected the scent to be basic and juvenile. however, this honey is rich and natural, specked with spices. it is an easy, sweet scent, but also quite nuanced and natural. i would feel comfortable burning this at a holiday dinner party.

candle care 101

we’re obsessed with wooden wicks (obviously) because they provide a unique & delightful experience, but because our wicks are cut from untreated wood, there may be slight variances in the thickness and grain of each wick. as a result, each candle may have a slightly different burn and may require extra maintenance. please read the below for full guidance on how to properly light and maintain your new candle:

step 1

lighting a candle

on the first burn, allow the wax to fully melt to the edge of the can, both on the first burn and consecutive ones (2-3 hours max)!

step 2

trimming a wooden wick with a mala wick trimmer

on every new burn, re-trim the wick to 1/8” the shorter height allows the wax to capillary up the wick to feed the flame properly.

step 3

snuffing the lit candle with the candle lid

do not burn the candle for longer than 2-4 hours at a time. it's time for a new candle when there is 1/2" wax remaining.
