Holiday Shipping Update



Due to the rapidly evolving situation and provincial emergency caused by floods and landslides in our hometown of British Columbia, major transportation delays have occurred. Delays are expected to be ongoing for packages traveling in and out of BC for the time being. As of Nov 15, there are no navigational roads traveling to or from Vancouver connecting the rest of Canada. We also do not yet have a projected date for any of these major roads opening. Both major rail lines are also closed at this time. Significant delays are expected for shipments that are currently in transit towards and already moving within British Columbia. (2 weeks of delay on top of regular transit times) Please note: we have ZERO control over your package once it leaves our warehouse and as a result of the natural disasters, our carriers have removed any promise of delivery before Christmas. 

If you are wanting your gift in time for Christmas, we recommend shopping our candles off of Indigo, Nordstrom, or checking out our local retailers for immediate access. Thanks for supporting our small business this season! As we're still seeing unprecedented delays throughout our industry, we wanted to provide an update about our lead times during this very busy season. 

Given what we’ve seen last year, and this year, the pandemic has increased the popularity of online shopping leading to delays with shipping carriers. So as we gear up for the busiest time ahead, we also anticipate major delays and want to share our recommended holiday shipping deadlines to help you prepare.

The Postal Service expects the busiest time will start three weeks before Christmas but given the higher volumes and safety guidelines in place, this will likely take place much earlier this year. It’s important to keep in mind that higher volumes are expected this year due to the pandemic, similarly to 2020. As a result, our carrier is giving earlier cut off deadlines to ensure your packages make it in time. These earlier times are also to give our very tiny team the chance to make your candles, package them, and send them out. Please keep in mind we are a small team that's doing our best to get everything out as soon as possible! If your order is made AFTER the date below, we cannot guarantee delivery before Dec 24. We anticipate orders made before the days below should arrive, but again we can't make any guarantees during this time: they are just dates recommended by us from our shipping carrier.

Please note: We have no control once your package leaves our warehouse and we will not be issuing any returns or refunds due to delay on your package.

Please note: Last day for local pick up in Vancouver is Dec 20 at 5pm PST (order must be made by Dec 17 at Midnight!) Orders made AFTER Dec 20 at Midnight will be processed after Jan 6th. We will be on holiday and will not be responding to emails from Dec 21- Jan 6th. If it is absolutely urgent, let us know and we'll make sure to get back to you!
