Holiday / Covid Shipping Update

Hi friend! 

If you're reading, thank you for being here! I just wanted to provide a small update about our lead times during this very busy season. 

Given what we’ve seen this year, the pandemic has already increased the popularity of online shopping leading to delays with shipping carriers. So as we gear up for the busiest time ahead, we also anticipate delays and want to share our recommended holiday shipping deadlines to help you prepare.

The Postal Service expects the busiest time will start two weeks before Christmas but given the higher volumes and safety guidelines in place, this will likely take place much earlier this year. It’s important to keep in mind that higher volumes are expected this year due to the pandemic. As a result, we're giving earlier cut off deadlines to ensure your packages make it in time. These earlier times are also to give our very tiny team the chance to make your candles, package them, and send them out. Please keep in mind we are a small team that's doing our best to get everything out as soon as possible! If your order is made AFTER the date below, we cannot guarantee delivery before Dec 24. We anticipate orders made before the days below should arrive, but again we can't make any guarantees during this time, they are just recommended by us from our shipping carrier. 

Last day to order for Xmas Delivery:

CANADA 

Vancouver: Dec 2 (local pick up is still available until Dec 18, please email for pick up address if needing to know before ordering) 

Within BC: Nov 26

Everywhere else in Canada: Nov 23

USA

INTERNATIONAL

We are not shipping outside of North America at this time due to too many packages being lost during COVID. 

 

Due to the second wave of COVID-19 here in Canada, we're implementing new procedures, restricting our small space to only one person in at a time. We are also wearing masks at all times and disinfecting everything along the way to ensure we all remain safe and protected. As a result, unfortunately there will be a slight delay in getting your order out the door. We see your messages and we're moving as fast as possible! At this time, we are not accepting any exchanges or used tins for our recycling program. Lastly, the "pre-order" status on our site means that it will take approximately 2 weeks for us to make and get your order out the door from the time you place the order. If some items are on pre-order in your cart and others not, we will wait until ALL the items in your cart are ready to go, for us to ship it together. If you are needing your candles sooner then this, we recommend shopping our candles off of Indigo or checking out our local stockists for faster access. We really appreciate your understanding and patience during this time!
